DieselHouse

DieselHouse is a wonderland for all with an interest in technology and history. The museum shows the development of diesel technology though 150 years history of B&W's shipyard and engine plant, the Copenhagen electricity supply and the transport of goods across oceans.

A history of oil and motors

Hear the story of B&W and their legendary diesel engine from 1932.  It is an exhibition about Denmark and the world, about the past, present and future.

The engine of the future
DieselHouse is a modern museum with interactive exhibitions where the history of technological development is linked to current and future demands for more environmentally friendly engines. The diesel engine is still an essential part of the world’s electricity, and the exhibition gives you an insight into the development, which will limit the future engine’s production of environmentally harmful substances.

Technological and cultural scientific research
Diesel House is owned by MAN Diesel & Turbo and is created together with the Museum of Copenhagen, so there are both experts in technology and cultural history behind the exhibitions. Compounding the world of science and the humanities makes the museum a special experience for all guests.
